All-Laser Lasik (18+)

What Is All‑Laser LASIK?

All‑Laser LASIK is an advanced form of vision correction that uses precision lasers—rather than traditional blades—to reshape the cornea and correct refractive errors like nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. Most patients experience vision that meets or exceeds 20/20.

Who It's For

Ideal candidates are adults aged 18 or older with stable vision, seeking a safe and highly accurate alternative to glasses or contacts. This procedure may also suit those considering presbyopia solutions with a custom blended focus approach.

How the Procedure Works

Your journey begins with a detailed eye evaluation to determine your exact vision needs. Using state-of-the-art laser technology, our specialists create a fully customized treatment plan designed just for you.

Eye Mapping & Consultation

(15–20 minutes)

Eye Mapping & Consultation

We begin with a comprehensive diagnostic scan of your eyes using wavefront and topography-guided technology. This creates a detailed 3D map of your cornea to customize your treatment precisely to your eyes.

Flap Creation (Bladeless)

(10 minutes)

Flap Creation (Bladeless)

Using a femtosecond laser, a thin corneal flap is gently created—completely blade-free. This ensures maximum precision and safety during the procedure.

Vision Correction & Healing

(15–20 minutes)

Vision Correction & Healing

An excimer laser reshapes the cornea in seconds to correct your vision. The flap is then repositioned, beginning your natural healing process—typically with minimal discomfort and rapid recovery.

I am very impressed with West Texas Eye Associates. My first appointment was with Dr. Bradley to determine that I was a candidate for cataract surgery and lenses. I was scheduled for surgery on both eyes with Dr. Shehz. One eye then 2 weeks the other eye. Both surgeries went as planned, were painless, quick and no recovery time. I had no issues seeing and had immediate results. Over the next week it got even better. The front desk staff was very efficient and friendly , the eye techs were all friendly and efficient, and the Doctors are well trained, explained the procedure in detail and provided excellent care. I could not be more pleased with the entire process and my new vision. I highly recommend West Texas Eye Associates to anyone with eye issues.

Our specialists in Dallas and Greenville are here to guide you with honest, straightforward answers so you feel comfortable every step of the way.

Customized All-Laser LASIK is an advanced vision correction procedure that uses precise laser technology to reshape your cornea, correcting vision issues like nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.

Most patients report feeling little to no pain during LASIK. You may feel slight pressure for a few seconds, but numbing eye drops keep you comfortable. Some dryness or mild irritation may occur for a short time after the procedure.

Many patients notice improved vision within 24 hours, and most return to normal activities within a day or two. Complete healing and stabilization of vision can take a few weeks.

It’s completely normal to feel nervous. Our team will walk you through every step of the process, answer all your questions, and ensure you feel at ease before and during your procedure.

LASIK permanently reshapes the cornea. However, natural changes in your eyes due to aging—such as presbyopia—may still occur later in life, possibly requiring reading glasses.

You may be a candidate if you:

Are at least 18 years old

Have a stable prescription for at least one year

Have healthy eyes free from certain conditions
Our specialists will perform a thorough evaluation to determine if LASIK is right for you.
