Received his Doctor of Optometry, from the University of Houston, Summa Cum Laude. A medically focused primary care, Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist licensed by the Texas State Board of Optometry. Board Certified Diplomate by the American Board of Optometry and served as its Ambassador for the State of Texas for a two-year term. Served the University of Houston, College of Optometry as an Adjunct Assistant Professor from 1986 to 2020 and mentored students in their final year of their Optometric education.
