Received his Doctor of Optometry, from the University of Houston, Summa Cum Laude. A medically focused primary care, Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist licensed by the Texas State Board of Optometry. Board Certified Diplomate by the American Board of Optometry and served as its Ambassador for the State of Texas for a two-year term. Served the University of Houston, College of Optometry as an Adjunct Assistant Professor from 1986 to 2020 and mentored students in their final year of their Optometric education.

A seasoned, experienced, and skilled Optometrist, who practices full scope eyecare from refractive services to the detection, treatment, and management of anterior and posterior segment eye diseases. Provides pre and post operative care and management for cataract patients, Lasik patients, patients with macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. Skilled in the detection, treatment, and management of potential ocular manifestations of systemic diseases.

Manages and treats eye injuries, corneal pathology, corneal foreign body removal, skilled in the detection, treatment and management of glaucoma, dry eyes, and eye allergies.

An outgoing yet professional personality. Enjoys practicing eyecare and helping patients by giving them a feeling of a safe, compassionate, and caring environment. Always takes the time to listen and engage with the patient in his quest to make them feel cared for and concerned for. Takes the time to find solutions to patients’ issues, educate them and answer all their questions. Always makes the patient feel like they are the most important person in the office, because they are. Truly, likes what he does as an Optometrist.
